Manage Subscription

Update your billing information, upgrade plans, and manage payments.

Accessing Billing Settings

  1. Go to your dashboard
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar
  3. Select Billing
Owner Only

Only the organization owner can access billing settings.

Current Subscription

The billing page shows:

  • Current plan name
  • Monthly price
  • Next billing date
  • Subscription status

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Click Upgrade or Change Plan
  2. Select the plan you want
  3. Click Continue
  4. Complete payment through Stripe
  5. Your new limits are active immediately

Prorated Billing

When upgrading mid-cycle:

  • You're charged the prorated difference
  • New limits take effect immediately
  • Your billing date stays the same

Downgrading Your Plan

  1. Click Change Plan
  2. Select the lower-tier plan
  3. Confirm the downgrade
Active at Period End

Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan's features until then.

Before Downgrading

Check that you're within the new plan's limits:

  • Number of chatbots
  • Team members
  • Storage usage

You may need to remove chatbots or team members first.

Canceling Your Subscription

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm cancellation

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your paid plan remains active until the period ends
  • At period end, you're automatically moved to the Free plan
  • Your chatbots and data are preserved
  • Free plan limits apply (100 messages, 1 chatbot)
Reactivate Anytime

You can upgrade back to a paid plan at any time after cancellation.

Payment Methods

Updating Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Manage Payment Method
  3. You'll be redirected to Stripe
  4. Update your card information

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • Some regional payment methods via Stripe

Invoices

Viewing Invoices

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click View Invoices
  3. Download PDF invoices for any period

Invoice Contents

Each invoice includes:

  • Plan name and price
  • Billing period
  • Payment date
  • Tax information (if applicable)

Tax Information

Adding Tax ID

If you need invoices with your tax/VAT number:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Manage Tax Information
  3. Add your tax ID
  4. Future invoices will include it

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  1. You'll receive an email notification
  2. We'll retry the payment automatically
  3. Update your payment method if needed
  4. Contact support if issues persist

Grace Period

After a failed payment:

  • Your subscription remains active briefly
  • Multiple retry attempts are made
  • Update payment to avoid service interruption

Subscription Status

StatusMeaning
ActiveSubscription is current and paid
Past DuePayment failed, retrying
CanceledSubscription ending at period end
ExpiredFree plan (no active subscription)

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund?

Contact support@leezy.ai within 30 days of purchase for refund requests.

Do unused messages roll over?

No, unused quota does not roll over to the next period.

Can I pause my subscription?

Pausing isn't available. You can cancel and resubscribe later. Your data is preserved when you return to the Free plan.

How do I get a receipt?

Download invoices from the Billing page. They serve as official receipts.
