Accessing Usage Analytics
- Go to your dashboard
- Click Analytics in the sidebar
- Select Usage
Usage Overview
The usage dashboard shows:
Message Usage
- Used: Messages consumed this period
- Limit: Your plan's message limit
- Remaining: Available messages
- Progress Bar: Visual usage indicator
AI Actions Usage
- Used: AI actions consumed this period
- Limit: Your plan's AI action limit
- Remaining: Available actions
- Progress Bar: Visual usage indicator
Status Indicators
| Color | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Under 80% used | Normal operation |
| Amber | 80-99% used | Consider upgrading |
| Red | 100% used | Limit reached |

See which chatbots consume the most resources:

Understanding Your Usage
Messages
Each conversation exchange = 2 messages:
- User question
- Chatbot response
Example:
- 50 conversations with 3 exchanges each
- = 50 × 3 × 2 = 300 messages
AI Actions
Each automated task = 1 AI action:
- Lead qualification
- Ticket creation
- Contact capture
Playground vs. Production
Playground Usage
Testing in the playground is free:
- Doesn't count toward message quota
- Doesn't count toward AI action quota
- Shown separately in analytics
Production Usage
Real conversations on your website:
- Count toward your limits
- Tracked for billing
- Reset each billing period
Test Freely
Use the playground to test changes without consuming quota.
Quota Projections
Based on current usage patterns:
- Days until limit: Estimated time until quota runs out
- Projected monthly usage: Expected total based on current rate
Usage Alerts
When approaching limits:
- Dashboard warnings at 80% usage
- Color indicators change
- Consider upgrading before running out
Optimizing Usage
Reduce Message Consumption
- Improve training for concise answers
- Add Q&A pairs for common questions
- Use clear, complete responses
Reduce AI Action Consumption
- Review which actions are necessary
- Configure action triggers appropriately

Historical Usage
View past periods:
- Select a past date range
- Compare with current usage

Exporting Usage Data
- Click Export
- Select date range
- Choose format (CSV)
